just need to vent, lol. it feels like ive applied to more jobs than i can count, and ive been ghosted by all of them. not even as far as an interview request, all places claiming to be so desperate for workers in this “crisis”.
i consider myself a person who generally likes work. i like doing tasks people consider monotonous. i like doing things like shelving and working numbers. i like to think i can work well with other people. apparently that isnt enough, though. (though im in this sub for still being anti-establishment and all that. liking some work personally =/= liking the oppressive system)
its so ridiculous. companies need to stop pretending theyre desperate for new hires happy to work when theyre really just benefitting from the low costs of being understaffed. im so sick of spending months waiting for a response from place after place, all while seeing their “hiring” sign still up by their front doors.
