I recently joined a new job, fresh out of college. Was never told this before joining but I got emails after a couple of l days joining that I need to pass a few exams?! They sent me the study material Then when I began studying at work my manager says “Nah, you need to do this at home – I need you to work on other things right now”. Is this legal? Can they ask me to study on my own time even though they need me to take these exams?
