Like I have had a particularly bad string of employment. Started with my health tanking in March 2020 and losing my job of 3 years in 2021 because of mental health issues. Owed like 20k in rent from missed work.
I got desperate and worked for whoever. Now my work references are those same shitty places. Know for a fact they'll lie about me because I went HR about safety. Because I reported associates trying to fist fight with me on the job.
I look bad because I quit and got out.
Even got laid off for calling out sick once, but my ex employer will somehow twist that on me too…
If the turnover rates of these companies was revealed it'd make sense that i quit or was fired for stupid shit
