Office Job Taking Physical AND Mental Toll

Usually, I can go exercise because I have already been sitting for eight hours. That being said it's so hard to stay in shape. I'm in my mid-twenties and I feel like my muscles are going through atrophy. I also can't find the mental energy to do the things I love like painting, reading, knitting/sewing because I feel like as soon as I really get into it I'll have to pack it all up and go finish some chores and go to sleep until the next day. Not to mention that most of my hobbies are sedintary and the last thing I want to do is sit for another couple of hours. Anyone have tips on how to keep your brain and body (and personal interests) alive in a sedintary work environment?
