Hello. I’m here for advice about job searching, and I’m on this sub specifically because I think you would be more understanding about what I’m going to ask.
So, I graduated last May with a Dual BA in Psychology and Philosophy and I’ve been job searching ever since. I’m stumped. It seems like there is nothing I’m qualified for? I need a job before I can start applying for grad school + I have to move out, but all the jobs are either out of my field of knowledge (TONS of openings for ‘insurance agents’) or are menial jobs that pay trash/hr and I can’t do that after 4 years of studying.
My questions are:
•Is anyone else in the same situation, and how are you coping?
•Any advice as to what keywords I could use to find a job I’m qualified for? (I have experience as a Research Assistant and as a Writing Consultant, but nothing similar is popping up)
Again, I’m on this subreddit because I don’t want to get told to “suck it up” and “just get any job”.
