In the USSR you were mandated to work, if there was a large enough strike in Canada they’d probably try the same thing!

So I was born in russia and my parents grew up in the soviet union, they would make school kids work in state potatoe farms called kolkhoz and they probably still do in Belarus, where my moms side is from. If everyone stopped working in Canada for over 2 weeks they could try to mandate people to work using the emergency powers act.
