Should I take job I’m overqualified for with sh*T pay just to get a foot in the tech industry?

Love the company culture and benefits but it's a junior role that I'm overqualified for. My previous job was the same pay and I did more advanced work. The salary is borderline disrespectfully low. At first instinct i was saying HELL NAH but I am currently unemployed and the economy is suss right now. I feel like by accepting the job I'm devaluing myself but bills need to be paid and wife is looking at me weird. I'm 33 years old and my plan was not to work for under 75k a year. Just want outside perspective. Been on the job hunt heavily the past 3 months with no luck outside of this company. it's the industry I want to grow in (Music / Tech) but I live in Los Angles and cost of living is high (I pay 1550 in rent including utilites and wouldn't be able to take on more bills from my S/O with this salary)

A step back to take a step forward? or is this a trap. I'm on unemployment and its just barely scraping me by. Don't wanna burn into my savings.
