I had a job few weeks ago, turns out the employer lied severely about the wages, and the job duties, so I ended up quitting after about two weeks. In those two weeks I worked roughly about 90 hours, and the employer sent me a direct deposit for 0.00, when it shouldve been closer to 2500
I thought the employer was taking their time sending me the final check, but i learned that wasnt the case
i found out when i was applying for welfare programs, then my social worker told me the gross earnings from that job is around 2k, but the net pay is 0.00
also my welfare worker told me what the hourly pay rate is, which is few bucks less than what i agreed upon with my employer in writing
do i have any legal action/recourse in this situation? im so tired of not being able to have a job where i dont get lied and scammed by my employer…

i dont really care anymore. i rather be homeless than let these greedy scumbag employers take advantage of me. thats a hill im willing to die on
