I have posted before about how my current job promised me a raise at the beginning of 2022, and I still have yet to receive anything. I asked my manager, and she said that they stopped doing that training program and have been looking at other ways to improve employees. Which basically means that instead of handing out raises, they will just be handing out more things to do without extra pay. I have only stayed this long due to the flexibility, but at this point I am getting paid minimum wage for a job that stresses me out way more than it is worth. I have used all my PTO, and currently start my new job on the 27th. My current job pays me 15/HR, and the job I have lined up pays 19/HR. The only difference is that my new job will be in office, but it is a 6 min drive from my house which is worth it for me.
I hate this job, I will eventually leave a review on every job searching platform. I get paid the same as every new person doing half the work that I do. I have also emailed my managers multiple different times asking questions and I have yet to receive a reply, some of these emails/messages are all the way from April. They tend to cover their own asses by saying that communication is hard sometimes when we are working remotely. They put me on projects that have no chance of getting leads, yet when my team does not get an, we always get a passive aggressive comment in the project chat. The passive aggression is honestly my least favorite thing, they do not tend to let you know what you can improve on but they will call you out in the team chats. I have also heard the managers talk badly about my coworkers, either about their effort or work ethic.
