Disappointing evaluation has me feeling betrayed.

I had my evaluation today with my supervisor, and I am furious. I work for a health system and part of a small team. For the past eight months, we have been working twice as hard and doing the job responsibilities of two people because we apparently don’t have the budget to hire more people. Throughout this whole ordeal, we’re told by management that we’re doing great and not to worry about production and quality scores because we are understaffed and overworked and they appreciate our hard work. My evaluation determined that was a lie. We are supposed to maintain a 95% accuracy rate for our audit scores and I averaged 90% for the whole FY, which is why I got a “Meets Expectations.” This infuriated me as we usually get a chance to present a rebuttal for our scores, but I haven’t received any of my audit scores after…

We are supposed to maintain a 95% accuracy rate for our audit scores and I averaged 90% for the whole FY, which is why I got a “Meets Expectations.” This infuriated me as we usually get a chance to present a rebuttal for our scores, but I haven’t received any of my audit scores after the month of January. What angers me the most is that management and compliance knew that my teams’ scores were dipping below our usual and no one thought to let us know about the low audit scores and used it as metric for our evaluation. Not one of the people who were telling us “you’re all doing a great job” came to us and gave us a chance to review and counter the audit findings. I have worked so hard for this department, going as far as doing things outside of my work responsibilities and this is the thanks I get. I went into this evaluation thinking I was going to have “Exceeds” in everything.

I feel so betrayed and I am ready to move on from this joke of a team.
