Corporations (tractor supply) telling me that I cannot tip their retail associates is complete bullshit. A retail worker at tractor supply helped me load a few things into my vehicle. I appreciated the help, they did not have to help me, they could’ve walked away, but they helped me and I felt that deserved a tip. I told them thank you very much took 5 dollars out and proceeded to hand it to them. They said corporate doesn’t allow us to except tips but thank you. I said I understand when I worked at Lowe’s they said the same thing in 2008, lowes said we could be written up for taking tips. I promptly put the money underneath a the top mat of a stack of horse mats and said I hope somebody finds that. Have a good day. Fuck corporate if I want to give a tip for someone doing something extra they didn’t need to it’s non of their business.
