How does anyone have time to take care of themselves, with a 40 hour work week + commute

I don't understand how other people do it, and make it look easy. I have a public transit commute of 45 minutes to and from my job, plus 40 hours a week, so each day is about 10 hrs dedicated to work, plus all the extra time I spend on meal prepping for work as there are no healthy options near my office. More money is spent on not-so great food in the interest of saving time & energy. This doesn't align with health as my main value in life. I hate mornings so I switched to an 11-7 shift, which is actually even more draining. I really deteriorate sitting at a desk all day, i think we all do. I am unable to schedule a doctor's appt due to working/commuting during business hours. My gym and yoga studio close too early to utilize them, I am so exhausted by the time I commute home that I can't schedule dates or make social plans, especially because I know I work the next morning. I am filled with dread.

I am starting to miss my restaurant job, because although they didn't pay me enough to survive, my shifts were 6 hours, there was some enjoyment, and I got some physical activity in. My city is too expensive to live on that salary, but I miss the freedom. I am hoping to transition to a job that is remote, because it would allow me back my evenings.
