Until earlier this year I was the global head of a large digital transformation program at a significant multi-national corporation. I left, sort of mutual arrangement, as I didn’t want to move overseas with my family when the next phase of the project moved to Africa. After we agreed on exit terms, however, I was treated like crap. Completely isolated, and I had zero work to do but wouldn’t be released early as a power trip.
Anyhow, when I left they deleted everything, literally everything. Charters, schedules, RAIDs, OCM plans, training artefacts, design workbooks, budgets, all access details for the 50+ tech systems, everything!
Guess which company had to go back to almost square one and lost over $45m in dev work and project progress?
