Look on my boss face – priceless

Finally I resigned from a toxic stressfull work environment after finding a new good job with a better salary and hopefully better work life balance. Went to my boss and told him this is it. His face dropped as he was not expecting this at all. Said what can we do? Told him nothing. I have been a high performing manager but he always tried to gaslight my decision making. The place has high turnover and a burn and churn culture towards junior staff. Hence people are always in and out. He tried to blame me for a few of people leaving whereas the truth is the company can’t manage expectations with their clients and is always putting extra pressure on staff to meet unrealistically stupid requests. Anyways, my colleagues looked demoralised and I feel for them. Will probably syphon a few of them to my new place as well,…

Anyways, my colleagues looked demoralised and I feel for them. Will probably syphon a few of them to my new place as well, hahahah.
But the look on the face of my manager was just priceless.
Two more senior people left last month and he is in shits now with me leaving.
