I’m sitting in a bar next to two self-proclaimed bosses that are bitching to each other about their employees.
So far we’ve had gems like
-talking about how a work from home dad should only be paid 6 hours a day, because he takes his kids to school.
-the counterpoint that the company is “too family friendly” and they’ll never fire that work from home dad
-a convo about an adult employee with ADHD, featuring the statement “don’t they grow out of that at some point?!?”
-another convo about people who take time off for family (clearly these guys don’t)
-employees who ask too many questions
-employees who are “untouchable” because of the amount of time they’ve been there
-and more!
Just saying… if these dudes are your managers, my condolences.
And they should be more aware that they are in public and people can hear them.
