I've been telling my boss one way to get more business is to get more Google maps reviews. When you look for similar businesses near by we don't come up high on the list because we have so few reviews after being in business 10 years. I gave her advice to send out an email to clients after they visit asking for a review. I told her she could even have the front desk take note of who is highly satisfied and who is not and send a link to the highly satisfied people to leave a review.
So what does she do. She offers a bonus to the employees to leave fucking reviews on Google and Yelp and then writes about it in the group chat. She even claims she'll call yelp to figure out why the reviews aren't showing and is asking her employees for screenshots of the fucking reviews they wrote.
Of course I didn't know this because I don't go to the monthly meeting. I swear having access to capital keeps so many morons afloat.
