Okay so I thought I was supposed to come in at 3pm today. (I work in a fast food joint). I come in, but it turns out I'm not supposed to be there until 4. Alright I'll just go back home. But my co worker asks if I'll go ahead and clock in so she can go home an hour early. I really didn't want to but did it anyway.
That night before my shift is over my boss sends this message to our group chat: (I've removed names and replaced them with letters)
“Just a heads up!!
You can only clock in 10 minutes early unless J, S or a PIC calls you in early!
If you do, we will have to correct it when we turn time in.”
I know it's just an hour, but can they really remove an hour I worked from off my paycheck? And if they aren't supposed to do that, is there anything I can even do about it? For reference I live in Florida
