TIL that my work deducts money from my paycheck for wasted supplies, even if i dont work in the kitchen?

They tally up all of the waste costs and (supposedly) deduct it from our wages. I havent gotten my first paycheck yet, but if its less than i have calculated, then i am probably gonna quit.
