You guys, I finally did it.
I had a phone interview with a company that was supposed to be at 0930 with it possibly being within a half hour. I get it, sometimes people run late. This person calls me at 0958. 2 mins before 10. I'm already weary because this screams unprofessional to me but we begin the interview. He goes on with his spiel for about a minute and mentioned that this was in fact an in person only with a strict script that needed to be followed. I specifically applied for this position because it said after training there was a possibility to WFH and the job description was not this at all. Tried to keep me on the line when he told me the pay but I told him I was not interested in the position anymore due to lack of transparency when I applied, thanked him and wished him a good day. My call ended at 1004. I will not be lied to again.
