I didn’t show up to my job. Am I gonna be okay legally?

I got hired at McDonald’s last week but I got a better offer yesterday. I already got an offer, filled out a W2, linked my direct deposit, gave them my information, etc. Today was supposed to be my first shift but I just didn’t go. Am I in trouble?
