Just that. I don’t understand them. If you want someone to work for you, great. If they seem intelligent and capable, great. I don’t understand why they feel the need to do this. And the argument is always “sounds like you have something to hide” if you disagree with this practice, which is a logical fallacy and completely anti worker rights.
