Drug tests feel like a privacy violation.

Just that. I don’t understand them. If you want someone to work for you, great. If they seem intelligent and capable, great. I don’t understand why they feel the need to do this. And the argument is always “sounds like you have something to hide” if you disagree with this practice, which is a logical fallacy and completely anti worker rights. Edit: not sure why I’m getting downvoted. I guess there are people on this sub that think drug tests are not a violation?
