[Serious] If you were to write a resignation letter to send to your manager, what’s the best way to deliver it professionally?

I need some help on how deliver this letter of resign to my employer, should I send them via my work email or personal email, or print it out? My job is 45min drive from my home as well. If I were you, what should I do? My employer is the nicest people that treated me really well for the past 4 years and I was already too burned out 1-2years ago. If this info is useful to you guys
