I already know this is going to be a problem so, I got straight to my manager to explain that my house is FLOODING and I have to be there tomorrow. The cherry on the top of my rant, is that they previously wouldn’t allow me time off for my graduation as they couldn’t find cover. Even though if I didn’t have my two degrees, I wouldn’t have been accepted for my job. Due to COVID my 2 graduations were postponed. So, of course I will have sympathy for the other person allowed time off to graduate 🤡

I wonder if I was on fire, they may pay me an ounce of understanding?
