Hired as an assistant manager. Told I was hired for a lesser position, and treated like a human punching bag.

About three months ago, I was hired at a restaurant. They had an open AM position, and they took me on. Things seemed okay for a little while. Naturally, as I was new to the company, they weren’t going to throw me in headfirst into something I knew nothing about, so I trained as a regular staff member, primarily in the kitchen. The owner promised me that getting me keys and an AM ID card was going to happen soon. It’s been three months. She has done nothing to get me either of those things, and now is insisting I was hired as just a restaurant leader, which is a step below AM. Normally, I’d just nod and go with it. However, today, they threw me in as the MOD with no ID card to authorize anything, and said “Good luck”. I want to elaborate more but I’m hiding in…

I want to elaborate more but I’m hiding in the bathroom as I write this. Never in my life have I felt more belittled, ignored, and abused by an employer. They won’t even pay me a wage that would be normal for a manager OR a leader. I don’t know what to do.
