While talking to my dad today he brought up how nobody wants to work. From what I could find out the company does actually pay decent wages, although I don't know how much that gets in his area, nor do I know what the work conditions are like. But the thing that stood out to me the most was when he mentioned how the workers don't seem to appreciate what the boss does for them, and the example he gave was that the boss would go and spend $600AUD on 6 wagyu steaks for the crew and have a BBQ. I should have said something to him but I was sort of in shock and the conversation changed. But “nobody wants to work”…….
Edit: I forgot to add that he also mentioned that although the pay is decent after a little while, the starting rate was just above minimum wage in Australia, and the hours aren't too great as he also mentioned one of the job applicants turned down the job because he would get more by simply staying on government payments (One of his examples of “nobody wants to work”)
