Does anyone else HATE employment staffing agencies as much as I do?

Warning: Long rant Seriously I HATE THEM! In no particular order: When you go apply they give you random pop quizzes that you had no clue about. You're totally caught off guard. I'm okay with the random drug tests though. They completely LIE to you! “Oh yeah everyone likes this job. You'll like it”. You show up to your first day at the job they found you and every one of your coworkers looks miserable being there and they all want to go home. Everyone is quiet during break time. Either looking at their phones or eating. When they tell you this warehouse job will be full 8 hours. I tell the staffing agency great I really need the 8 hours because I have bills to pay. They smile and tell you where to go and what time you have to be there. You show up 20 minutes early.…

Seriously I HATE THEM! In no particular order:

When you go apply they give you random pop quizzes that you had no clue about.

You show up 20 minutes early. Around 12-1 you think everyone is going to lunch. Coworker tells you “Nope! Work is done we're all going home”. ϞϞ(๑ ○ ๑)

Staffing agency gives you a 3 days a week job knowing you can't live off that. You need a full 40 hour work week job. But you still take it because you need to make money.

Training is nonexistent. You get trained by your coworker who's only worked there a month or 2 months longer than you. A lot of times you have to figure things out on your own and your boss gets mad at you for making a mistake even though he or she knows you did not get in depth training.

You get treated like SHIT from mostly all the people. Except some of your coworkers from the staffing agency. Them knowing that you're a temp worker somehow they think that they can treat you like SHIT!

When you go apply and they tell you “we only have either warehouse or production work available for you”. But they don't know is that you talk to a woman that was also applying in the waiting area and she will be getting a clerical job. I asked her how she got that experience. She tells me a different staffing agency gave her a chance and got her 2 months training while on the job. I asked her what staffing agency. She tells me the name of a staffing agency that I've applied to before and that same staffing agency also told me “we only have warehouse and production work available to you” . She is only there at this staffing agency for a bigger hourly wage.

By the way I did ask the same staffing agency employee if I can get that clerical job as well. The staffing agency employee tells me “well that woman got that clerical job because of her intensive clerical job training”

Apply to a different staffing agency and the staffing agent employee shows me on her computer “see this? It's all the available jobs we can find you if this job does not work out”. I call the staffing agency back a week later because my boss at work tells me he's moving me to swing shift. I can't do it because I'm going to school at night. The same woman staffing employee tells me “I can't jump from job to job”. You're the same person that told me I just can get a different job. WTF?!?!

You start your new job and you get hired but they got too many people for that job. 15 people go home still unemployed and you're one of the 15.

When you ask what are the job duties are. Staffing agency employee just tells you “it only says here forklift driver. Sorry”.

By the way these situations have happened to me in the past 12-13 years.

Please AVOID AT ALL COSTS an employment staffing agency unless you need an immediate job. That's just one positive thing they have done for me. They helped me get a job quickly. That's the only positive thing though.
