I was outraged by this. The tenor of the article is to be polite and professional, and don't blast the company. Eff that. You quit your job to go work for them, you have nothing, and yet you should be discreet. Oh, and take a few days off to grieve and get.your thoughts together. Who the actual F*** can take a few unpaid days just to get compose themselves? This is personal because I came very close to this. Several rounds of interviews, told I was preferred candidate, group president cancels the role before the offer. Meantime, I found something actually better, but, wow.
