I was moving out of my place the other day and had to throw out like 3 trash bags of food. The US is in a unique position, both geographical and historical, that could easily allow it to feed everyone inside its borders free of charge. Sure it seems like a lofty goal but even back in WW2 we fed the entire European continent practically free of charge. The fact that anyone, working or otherwise would have to worry about food is a fucking travesty.
