Turning down a good job offer because I can’t meet their 100% attendance during training.

I was reading some other posts here, and just needed to commiserate. It's been tough since losing a supervisor position in retail earlier this year when my son had RSV and I missed too much work. Our landlord ended our lease around the same time, so we had to use charity to help with the move-in expenses for a new apartment, which is $700 more plus more utilities than our old place. Thankfully we have free preschool for my son, so I have time to do side hustle things and apply to jobs. I really don't understand how anyone less fortunate than us is surviving right now. Finally offered a WFH job with CVS that seemed promising. However, the start date isn't flexible and they have a 100% attendance requirement for 10-12 weeks during training. Due to a nerve problem in my neck, I have physical therapy twice a week with a standing appointment time. If I don't go to PT often enough, I lose feeling and function of my right hand. Also, finally got scheduled for an injection for this issue, this also conflicts with the new job attendance. I tried to request accommodation, which was a 3 hour run around. It's just too much time off needed, so I will have to take care of myself and keep looking for something else. Every month getting further behind on bills, yet make too much for anything more than WIC. Food is manageable with help, I am good about stocking up just in case, being resourceful with what ingredients we have available.

Burn it down.
