Fuck this shit. I'm so tired of complaining and feeling powerless. I want to get a job that focuses on improving labor laws and employees' rights.
Does anyone know how to go about becoming a union rep? I'd also take any suggestions on other employment opportunities that might allow me to advocate for employees.
Sidenote: Back in the early 00'ts I was accepted into grad school and prepping for my LSATS, but got disillusioned with the system and decided to skip grad school and go to Thailand instead.
Needless to say, I defaulted on my student loans and probably can't go back to school. Not to mention I've gotten lazy with my grammar (proof is in the post).
However, I continued to learn as much as I could about the law over the years and I do have skills that would be useful in work of this nature; namely knowing more about my rights than people anticipate, and a long track record of fighting for them.
