I put my 2 weeks in and was told that even though I have a good chunk of hours of PTO left over it won't be paid out because they “prorate it” and give all hours at the beginning of the year. If I had known, I would have been able to take my vacation then quit or at least use more of it before hand. Instead I am missing out on a big chunk of change, at least $1000. Your boss will fuck you any chance they get. Don't let them.
