Figured to share a “win”: Yearly reviews came around, I was offered a 7% wage (44k) & asked for more which bumped to 15% (47,5k)

I am still underpaid so I don't consider this a solid win. A soft win? My salary was previously 41.2k for a fast paced environment designer at a promotions agency. My job is a mid-level job. Realistically, I should be compensated at least 60k from the workload & technical skills required for my position. In my review I stated that I believe a salary of 52k would be appropriate due to knowing the wages of two other designers and a recent shift of responsibilities to be more reliant on in-house designers while the remote designers has increased. I was countered with 47,5k and accepted it. For more context: My company has had high turnover specifically in the art department. When I started, they still had 1 more open position after hiring 3 designers within a month. I was the 3rd hire. Since I started, the team has had 3 more…

Since I started, the team has had 3 more people leave their positions. The environment causes burn out and demands unreasonable turn around time.
