My department manager pissed me off today, so I decided to ask Reddit this question, out of spite for my manager. I am in a union, so it is difficult to get outright fired. I'd have to do something really bad for that to happen. What I just want to learn is how to do as little as possible without looking it. Because working your ass off, at least in retail, is a death sentence. You give them an inch, they take a mile. I just want to go to work, talk to some work friends, maybe have some fun, and just generally vibe. But I'm not sure how to actually look like I'm working while doing little. I work as a dairy clerk in a grocery store chain. I don't feel bad about ripping them off.
