So I just accepted a new job offer and have PTO planned in a couple of weeks. The new job wants me to start on 9/6. However, I have vacation planned that I have PTO for at my current job starting the 19th for 1 week. Would it be bad to put my two weeks on the 18th, essentially being on vacation for 1 week of my 2 weeks notice? This is a job where my boss didn’t give me any courtesy when my dog died, so I don’t necessarily feel guilty for it.
