I didn’t know where else to ask this question so I decided to come here.
I passed two interviews in June at 2 different places and got the jobs. The first one was an urgent opening so I accepted to work there cause I needed money but I resigned recently to start the 2nd one on Aug 15th. I did so because they also started sending me welcome messages.
But today, out of nowhere, they told me to give a letter of employment of my previous workplace and I should give it Aug 12th at the latest. I was quite shocked because I know I got terminated and had struggled to find another job. Is this normal to ask so late after more than 1.5 month? I’m so confused and infuriated at the same time.
