Hi there!! I just have a quick question and wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with this. I work in a small private doctors office with only 7 employees. The providers often take vacations (last minute sometimes as in they give us a weeks notice) where the office is closed. When I first started here I was told that we can use PTO or not get paid when they are out of office. Is this normal? At my other job prior to this if a provider was out you could go work for someone else or take the day off, but at least you didn’t need to use your PTO if you didn’t want to. Thanks in advance, I’m just curious
