I have work many jobs in my life as a machine operator. Ive operated everything from welding, paint lines, many cnc machines, self taught cad, filling lines etc.
I worked for big companies like coca cola, yankee candle, in aero space shops and more.
The job i found is a 10 people shop, the owner work with us not against us, only job ive ever had were we get bonuses, and they are quarterly and usually atleast 2 paycheck worth,
The owner is a women and hire women in need of jobs to do busy work while most the the machines are run by men(women do run them but not as much)
Had a baby took my 3 months leave (paid by state) and she offered to give me more time if needed.
The pay is good for people as experienced as me, and above min wage for entry level workers.
Flexible hours where the shop is open 13 hours a day so if you need to do something during the day you can come back to make up the hours.
TLDR: there are good jobs and owners out there. Rare? Yes but, they are out there.
