So, this is an update to me not being trained properly. I've found issues in a big project that we are doing. I've been bringing this issue up for a while, and the reason why I thought the issue was happening. Boss/CEO said that wasn't the issue and we will get back to it. The right hand mentioned the issue because I brought it up to them and now the CEO is praising that idea.
Today, I had a zoom with the boss and their right hand. Basically, I am underperforming and making them look like idiots. I did question how are we looking like idiots when I found a problem and offered a solution and it was actively being worked on. Apparently I shouldn't have asked that.
I was also asked if I had a place conducive to work remotely because I have dogs and they hear kids in the background.
Which sure they want to make sure I'm working and concentrating on the job. The baby they hear is my sister's foster child and the dogs bark when the case workers visit. Which the CEO/boss was aware that I have fosters in the house and it was something we bonded over.
Good thing is they're offering to bring me in for additional training but at this point I'm kind of wishing one of the other places I've applied to respond.
