Boss will be doing triples soon over 2$ an hour.

They are already strapped for workers, I'm doing a night auditor position going on 5 years now. I asked for a raise because I'm making the same as fresh hires, it's really messing with me watching another coworker not even show up 5 times in the last month but still make the same as me. The hotel is literally out sourcing cleaners because we dont have enough workers, we have literally 2 workers for the front desk that show up (me being one of them) The gm and agm are already covering for the other coworker never showing up and then having to laundry/ house keeping. Well I'm done they can figure out the night shift too, I was perma full time nights but now it's gonna cost them more in rehiring/training then it would've to have given me a 2$ raise. Damn that 4k extra a year would've broke…

Damn that 4k extra a year would've broke the companies back when we're charging Well over 300$ per night for a rundown “3 star” hotel.

With no incentive to work here I contacted my old boss and will be starting Monday. I've sent a letter to my bosses boss explaining due to the unfair wages I'll be going with the other job if they can't match what was offered.
