Antiwork

Just started this job, and I’m back looking for another!

I finished my first week of work and I absolutely hate it. My biggest gripe is the commute. 35-45 minutes up because of traffic, and an hour and 15 minutes home because of traffic. I got home at 730, had maybe an hour to myself before I had to sleep. My boss assumed I was 25 minutes out, and I told him double that, and it's even worse coming home. He mentioned that he's happy to find someone else if I really can't do the commute, but he wants to give it an extra week to see if I “like the job” because either way I have to come in until he finds a replacement. Sadly this is the only job that took me on after 2 years of searching. Is it true that works easier to find if you're employed?
