Be careful what you sign, you could owe money to your employer when you leave (or even get fired!).
The general idea is that basically the contract you sign at hiring states that if you leave by X date, you owe money to the company for “training” or otherwise.
This is especially applicable for Health care workers, but even can apply to places like Petsmart and Chipotle. Be careful!

Oh, and yeah, I guess this is sick and twisted and stuff, but I guess very little should surprise me anymore. My abject disgust at these clauses, especially at the fact they can be hidden, has been overweighed more by a desire to warn people about them and possibly help people from getting into a bad spot. But of course, some people do not have options.
