Even if the job seems nice, eventually it sucks

I recently just quit my job as a call center banker. Everything about the job was actually pretty good. Decent pay, work from home, nice manager. It was all good until they gave me a promotion pretty fast. Then I realized I was trapped. The new trainer was rude and the raise was only .75(promised a dollar btw). After that the job got twice as hard with barely any pay increase. I asked if I could move back to my old position but they said I couldn’t. Every call was demeaning and humiliating. I had to leave which sucked because the positives of the job were still there, they just didn’t outweigh the negative anymore. I have worked since I was 16 and mostly in retail. I am finally going to pursue my dream job due to this. In some ways, I am happy my eyes were finally opened. Thank you to anyone that read. Hopefully, things get better for us all.
