Fired because I couldn’t work 2 hours away from home

My employer approached me yesterday and told me, the next day I’d have to work 2 hours away from home because I was needed elsewhere. I explained to them that I can’t work that far from home because I have a kid to take care of and literally can’t afford the gas to drive 4 hours a day, 4 days a week when I was used to driving 5 miles from my house to work. Them moving me would also put my original area in a tight spot because we were already short handed and a lot of the people were new, so they worked slow. So they fired me on the spot, I was their most productive worker despite only having 1 year experience in my field. Now I have a kid, a wife, a new house, and all these bills to try and pay with no job. I busted my ass in the hot ass Louisina heat every day, only to be kicked aside for something so ridiculous and out of my control.
