Means continually fucked up paychecks.
The company my husband works for is a multi-country, LARGE manufacturing business and their internet was apparently hacked MONTHS ago and still hasn't been fixed. That means their time clock is unusable, so this particular plants solution was NOT to buy an old fashioned punch card machine. No, it was to have employees write their clock in time and clock out time in a notebook to pass to their supervisor to give to the HR manager so they can enter it all.
So the last two paychecks of his have been shorted 12.5 and 8.5 hours of OT. Last check when he brought it to HRs attention they added it to this check(2 weeks later) which is 8.5 hours short. It's infuriating and the DOL is getting a call today.
I know there is no law that regulates the METHOD of hours tracking, but is there anything that dictates how long they can take to pay for the shorted hours? For reference we are in AL.
