I made a post a couple weeks ago about my CEO going behind my back to a potential employer and telling them I had taken multiple mental health days (I had not), and that I hated one of their employees (I absolutely do not), and that ultimately, those were the reasons they did not move forward with me. I'm both in tears and so infuriated that I missed out on a $100k + job with great benefits and a great team who were willing and quite ready to move forward with me, only to have my fucking stupid boss ruin it for me. I don't know how to cope with this. It's one thing when your resume is rejected by a system, or they choose to not move forward with you based on your interview, work, or merit. I didn't even make it that far – instead of telling them I was an asset to him, my boss uses personal problems to dissuade them from hiring me. It worries me what other shit he's said about me behind my back
