I (19M) was layed off a week ago by my boss (62M), who fired me for being off ill with covid for a week, as per my doctors recommendation. I need the money to invest in an electric car for my family as gas prices are soaring right now.
This is isn't the first time he laid people off for BS reasons. A month ago he fired a young woman (23M) for being a twitch entertainer on the side. Now I don't have money for rent. Meanwhile the same boss who fired us is due a promotion.
My boss is a very conservative person who holds his very christian beliefs in high regard in the workplace, much to the detriment of my female coworker. Even his son (28M), who also holds a high position in the company advised against this move, but to no avail.
Do I (20M) have any possible legal recourse here? (edited)
