I'm over these little tasks that they give you during interviews that don't really show you … Well anything. They don't show you what my work output is, they don't even show you what I know about your product bc they're so generalized … It's aggravating. At 430am, I get an email cancelling an 830 am interview that I agreed to last minute. The recruiter loved me, but the hiring manager took a look at my responses and decided there were other better candidates. I'm lookin' at these responses… And again these tasks they're handing out don't tell you really anything. In fact the task they handed me actually had quite a few grammatical and basic English errors within the questions themselves. I didn't fix them as I thought that would be presumptive and rude (hell I'd probably take it that way if it wasn't an instruction on the test itself, and I'm def not perfect in that arena).
This rat race is getting really exhausting.
