I'm starting to dislike agencies. I am with two agencies, one whom I handed in my notice a week ago. Two weeks before that, I called up after my shift and let them know that I am unavailable from the 12th to 14th. I was then made aware on my first day off (today), that I needed to have it authorised. I didn't know this. The person who I spoke to get the day off didn't mention that I needed to get it authorised. I am now pissed off because I have been working with them for almost a month every day. I am now afraid this will have an impact on my pay which is going towards uni.
The other agency called me on Monday to ask if I was available this week to which I said mainly yes apart from Friday… they then called me on Friday to ask me if I can take a shift 10 minutes before the shift started. If I did say yes, then I would have most likely gotten a bollocking for being very late.
I'm just tired of this, and it hasn't put me in a good mood to go and see my family (they don't live in the same area).
