We're two years into this pandemic and it has been a struggle for us to do what we do with a lot of Covid circulating throughout our sites, most staff out on WFH, all meetings still online, and just basically trying to keep everything from imploding. Today we got an email asking about our progress with annual goals. To be clear, we are supposed to commit to three detailed SMART goals in addition to our regular jobs that we're struggling to keep up with. These goals are mandatory but do not impact our pay in any way since our positions are all funded through grants. I don't know why, but this just felt really tone deaf to me. I'm so over this.
