Some background context: I’ve been working up the courage for the past two months to quit a corporate job I’ve been at for the past 6 years. In the midst of all that, I was talked into going the leave of absence route first to make some extra money, but after meeting with 3 separate doctors, no one is willing to write a dr note for anxiety/depression/stress which is clearly caused by work. Pretty sure my original plan to just quit and have a clean break is the best plan, but curious about what everyone here has done?
I know most people probably quit to apply for a company that’s less toxic, but this is the anti work sub, so there’s gotta be someone who’s figured out how to make it work without going back to corporate or toxic work environments.
